Bearded Viking-inspired axe (not sharpened)
Viking inspired bearded axe with wooden handle, head is in high carbon steel but it comes non-sharp.
Popular with re-enactors and history buffs, this is a solid bearded axe at 66 cm total length.
The high-carbon forged head is 18 x 12 x 3 cm, forged and hand-ground to shape in India.
The handle is dark, stained wood with a sharp tear drop cross section for excellent indexing of the edge. This is not a handle that will roll in the hand.
These are heavy at just under 1 kg, and a bit bigger than the throwing axes and comes ready to mount or carry at festivals.
If using it, it will require sharpening.
