Folding knife kit 65 mm, AUS-8 blade

Includes everything except handle scales, for putting together your own folding knife.

This kit has a 2,5" (65 mm) hollow-ground blade in AUS-8 stainless steel in satin finish. The steel has added vanadium for increased toughness, and has been cryogenically treated for additional edge performance, tempered to 56-58 HRC. The matching bolsters, backspacers, liners and pins are made from 416 grade stainless steel for maximum workability if wanting to customise the folder further. This excellent lockback design is about 92 mm when closed and about 162 mm when opened.

Handle length is about 91 mm and the blade is about 65 mm, The kit also includes shim stock for a close fit and lockup.

Complete the kit by adding handle scales in wood or micarta that are minimum 100 mm long.

The kit comes in a well-presenting gift box.
