Norway Pine Cone in Acrylic Scales - White
Set of 2 scales, each scale about 9 x 38 x 120-125 mm.
Stunning looking scales made in the US by combining Norway Pine Cones that are dryed and hand selected to have strong spines with few or no sap inclusions. If you do hit a soft pocket of sap, stabilise it with super glue (CA) to seal it. The pine cones are combined with dyed alumilite resin under pressure to a solid set of handle scales. Each scale is cut to have a core and outer side. Which side you use out on the knife will decide the final look of the handle. Made in the US by a company who have been making these combined scales since 2008 and have the process down pat.

Quality of scales
The scales look great but have a bad bow in them. Going to have to try and sand it out so there isn't much pressure on it when I glue and pin it.
