Each internal short edge has a strong protective barrier inside a canvas runner to reduce the chance of a blade cutting through.

The leather cases are 300 x 110 x 33 mm in size. The knife in the photo is about 240 mm long, a paring kitchen knife.

This is an expensive way to carry or transport blades, no doubt. But it will add a touch of class when presenting the result of your work to the customer or collector.
