Polar 80 Whittling Knife, Carbon Steel

Classic Scandinavian Polar 80 Whittler blade, a very popular knife making kit blade now in a completed knife. The Whittler blade has a steep profile towards the tip, combined with a thin shallow edge which combines into great agility in use. The blade cuts deep with good control, a good camping companion for softwood carving projects and general use.

Made in Finland using traditional 80CrV2 carbon steel, with handle in Curly Birch, spacers and birch front piece with brass fittings and a leather sheath.

    This was a gift for our son who loves whittling. The knife is very high quality and Bjorne was fantastic to deal with. It was so good that we bought another blade and are following his instructions on building the handle as a great father/son project.
