Santoku Blade 150, Stainless Steel

Santoku blade, 150 mm 

 Japanese Santoku style blade in 8A Stainless, polished to a satin finish.

Light, well balanced and beautifully shaped. It is designed to be used often. 

The blade length is 150 mm (6"), overall length is 273 mm (10.75") and about 1.8 mm thick.

These blades are a delight to handle, thin enough to be responsive and a great slicer. 

These blades are made from 8A Stainless Steel, with a "Keen-Edge" flat ground.

The handle has 2 large holes for weight reduction and smaller slits that are slightly larger than 1/8" pins. (the slits are almost 4 mm high)

To create a knife with this blade blank,

add some knife scales and optionally bolts/pins and some inlays between the steel and handle scales.
