Spoon Carving Knife Blade Set, Hand Made in Australia  (LEFT Handed Blades)

Carbon Steel blade in 1095 high-carbon tool steel, hand made by Jason at Hillbilly Forge in NSW.

The blades are curved with a single sharp side, for carving spoons and cups.

The finish is somewhat rustic and each blade is individually made so they are not identical but each set comes with one open and one rounded spoon carving blade.

These are also called "hook blades" due to the shape, and used by spoon carvers and bowl makers for creating hollows in spoon, bowls and cups.

These are for holding in your LEFT hand so they curve towards the right with the edge underneath. When holding them in your left hand, you can safely rest your left thumb on the spine of the blades.
