Curly Birch Puukko, 75 mm blade
Great all-purpose hand made belt knife from Finland. Carbon steel blade and handle in curly birch with a leather sheath, the blade tang goes through the handle for a very strong construction. The blade is in strong Böhler Uddeholm Vandium carbon steel, hardened to HRC 58-59 for good performance and edge retention.
A classic Nordic belt knife, short and sharp carbon steel blade that is 75 mm long for good control and functionality. Ahti-puukko is proudly made in Finland in the traditional knife-manufacturing town of Kauhava in Ostrobothnia.”

fantastic carver
Brought this because it looked good turned out to be a great carver and very comfortable in the hands. It has now replaced my moras in the project bag.
It is very lightweight and a great addition to any day pack or companion knife to a small axe for longer trips.
It will be a knife that will not be sold or traded

perfect present
I bought this knife for my husband's birthday. He likes hunting and was excited when he unwrapped the present. He said it is a good knife to take the animals skin off.
