3M Cubitron II 984F abrasive belts feature 3M Precision-Shaped Ceramic Grain, engineered to cut quickly, stay sharp longer and reduce heat build-up during grinding.
The precision-shaped grains continually fracture to expose fresh cutting edges, delivering consistent cutting performance and longer belt life compared with conventional ceramic abrasives.
The heavy-duty YF-weight polyester cloth backing provides excellent durability, making these belts particularly suitable for medium to high-pressure grinding applications.
An incorporated grinding aid helps reduce heat build-up when working with stainless steel and other heat-sensitive metals.
Ideal for Knife Making and Metalworking
These belts are well suited to heavy stock removal, blade profiling, bevel grinding and general metal fabrication.
They perform particularly well when sufficient grinding pressure is applied, making them suitable for demanding grinding applications.
