Our precision ground contact wheels are perfect for many tasks, from general metal shaping & stock removal to knife handle sculpting and profiling. The standard 19mm spigot included with the wheel allows for fast and efficient changing between your contact wheel and flat platen.

Contact wheels are great for rapid stock removal as the smaller diameter of the wheel opens the grain of the belt, exposing fresh grit that simply cannot be utilised in flat platen grinding.

Our billet aluminium hubs are precision CNC machined, then coated in a premium, abrasion-resistant urethane rubber – all completed in-house. The wheels are then ground concentric for a perfectly smooth and vibration free grinding experience.

The 4" contact wheel is compatible with all 84 Engineering 48" and 72" belt grinders / linishers using tooling arms included with your grinder.
