Small Wheel Pair

Australian-made quality small wheel sets, each pair of small wheel set comes with 2 differently sized wheels.

The options are 1/4" and 1/2", or 6 mm and 13 mm wheels. Or the bigger set with wheels in 3/4" and 1" or 20 mm and 25 mm.

The small wheel sets are very handy for getting into tight corners like between the heel and ricasso of the blade, or doing finger guard contouring on handles.

As always, remember to run the small wheels VERY SLOWLY to not burn the bearings.

Optional Small Wheel Tooling Arm:

The small wheel set replaces the flat platen of the grinder, using the platen tooling arm.

If wanting an even better belt angle to get into tight corners, 84Engineering recommends getting the optional Small Wheel Tooling Arm in addition to the small wheel sets.

In addition every 84Engineering grinder always come with a Belt Starter Pack - also after the Small Wheel promotion is over.

The Belt starter pack is a good selection of belts to get you up and running on your new grinder, and will assist with becoming familar with different types of belts, as well as going through different grit progression.

The belt starter pack consists of

• VSM Ceramic belts in 60 and 120 grit for fast, effective grinding of steel*
• Zirconia belts in 120 grit for grinding handle materials
• Alu Oxide belts in 180, 400 and 600 grit for finishing grinding at slower speeds

*Over time the VSM Ceramic Belts will be replaced by 3M Cubitron II belts also in the starter packs, an upgraded belt that last longer with a more even scratch pattern.
