Reindeer and Birch Puuko with Carbon Steel Blade
Reindeer antler is often used in knife handles in Scandinavia, in the northern regions across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Dense and heavy with little marrow, the antler pieces are either used as full handle rolls, or as smaller sections within wooden handles.
As opposed to stag antler handles, reindeer handles are generally ground to shape, showing the paler inside of the antler.
