Kobie sent us some photos of a collection of his knives he has made, thought we could share them on here as a bit of inspiration for others. Kobie works mainly with carbon steel and both natural and man made handle materials.
Here is a great carving set with high carbon 1084 steel blades, fulltang construction and stabilised Tasmanian Fiddleback Blackwood scales.
Kobie even made the mosiac pins: "Also, the mosaic pins were made from aluminium tube, brass and copper pins, and an old Allen key for the centre pin as it was a perfect fit! Hahaha. The epoxy was mixed with a little charcoal from the campfire to blacken it."
Here is one with Damascus G10 handle scales and textured scales.
Kydex sheath custom made for the knife;
Another custom blade with spear point in high carbon steel, G10 scales and kydex custom sheath.
