Ebony Wood Knife Handle Block
Solid piece of Ebony wood, dark with possible lighter brown streaks.
Ebony is one of those classic woods used for a very, very long time on high-end pieces. An exclusive wood that finishes beatifully, often used in smaller pieces for front of the handle (bolster) on chef knives.
Approximatley 30x40x130 mm, solid block of wood.
Ebony turns superbly, and takes a very high natural polish.
The piece in the picture is sanded and had Uncle Bjorn's Handle Finish applied.
