Australian Blackwood is a medium-density hardwood native to Tasmania and southeastern mainland Australia. Known for its golden-brown tones and natural shimmer, it’s a favourite among knifemakers for both its looks and ease of finishing.
These blocks are kiln-dried, straight, and ready to use. Most pieces display varying degrees of figure and natural colour play – ideal for creating one-of-a-kind custom knife handles.
