Description
Add strength, style, and colour contrast to your next knife or tool project with these G10 spacer liners. Made from high-pressure fibreglass laminate, G10 is lightweight, durable, waterproof, and easy to work with – perfect for custom handle builds.
These liners are 1mm thick and can be easily sandwiched between handle scales and tangs or stacked for a thicker accent. Choose from a range of solid colours to create a bold or subtle separation line in your design.
Safety note: G10 is much harder to cut and work than Micarta. Always use appropriate PPE when working with this material, including a dust mask or respirator. The fibreglass content in G10 can cause skin irritation for some makers – long sleeves and pants are a good idea when cutting or sanding.

Great way to add some contrast
I've mainly mounted scales straight to the knife in the past, but I thought I'd give these a go for a special project. It's only a thin slice of colour once you're finished but it adds fantastic contrast and finish to the handle. Very easy to cut and sand to shape. I used a Japanese hand saw, coping saw, files, belt sander and Dremel on these and they came up a treat. Worth giving a quick wipe when sanding and finishing so that you can see what the finish will look like as it looks lacklustre until you clean things off.

The spacers will work perfectly once glued up with the other colours I have then with the brass guard
