Leathercraft Punching/Pounding board Set

Set of poly mat for punching/stamping leather on, and sound-dampening felt pad.

Pounding or "punching" board is 200 x 300 mm in size, 15 mm thick.

Felt pad is included and can be used underneath the punching board as a sound-dampening pad. 

For hole-punches and other solid tools you can punch directly through the leather and into the pounding board, but for the longest tool life we recommend always adding a scrap piece of leather between your work piece and the pounding board.

For stitching chisels which are not as strong as hole pounches, always use a scrap leather piece to soften the blow before the tool hits the pounding board.
