Northern Silky Oak Handle Scales x 2
Knife handle scales in dry Northern Silky Oak, set of 2 scales. Each scale is approx 10 x 40 x 125 mm in size.
Striking speckled effect in the wood, finishes well but can have issues with tear-out if planing. Should not be an issue in knife making but worth noting if using in larger pieces for instruments or furniture.
Scales in picture are finished to 600 grit and oiled to bring out the pattern.
