Knife handle scales in osage orange wood, set of 2 scales. Each scale is approx 10 x 40 x 150 mm in size.
Osage orange is easily recognisable due to the orange or yellow hue. By bow builders this is a sought after wood due to the unique properties of being able to both take stretch and compression. There is little value in a knife handle from these qualities but still has a special place for many knife makers due to the archery qualities.
