Description
Copper plate, 1 mm thick (40 x 40 mm)
Copper spacer material, min 4x4 cm in size.
These are cut out and may need to be hammered flat before use.
Drill a hole for the tang and insert these as spacers in between pieces of wood or other handle material.
These can also be used to create custom bolsters, often 2 layers with fibre between is used for strength.
Example of cutting the handle block in pieces and placing nickel silver and fibre spacers between the pieces.
