Description
Stainless Steel Copper Damascus San Mai – Wave Pattern
Pre-hardened San Mai knife steel featuring stainless steel Copper Damascus cladding in a flowing Wave pattern.
The San Mai construction uses a solid cutting core through the centre of the billet, with stainless steel and copper Damascus cladding on the outside. Once the blade is ground, finished and etched, the copper layers create warm copper highlights against the contrasting stainless steel pattern.
Supplied pre-hardened and intended for stock-removal knife making, so the billet can be profiled and ground without carrying out the initial heat treatment.
