Description
Corby Bolt, Brass (1/4", 6.35 mm)
Medium size corby bolt in brass, for securing handle scales to full-tang knife blades.
These are often used in addition to epoxy glue, for both looks and additional attachment strength of the handle scales.
The bolt has thicker end pieces (6.35 mm / 1/4") with screwdriver slots in them.
The centre section is 4.6 mm thick and is the part that goes through the blade.
The bolt is threaded, consisting of two pieces that when tighetend is ground down to sit flush with the handle scales.
