Figured Spotted Gum Handle Scales x 2
Spotted Gum is recognised as an Australian premium hardwood, popular for the striking grain structure and durability. Popular around the world for the striking looks and usability it possibly one of the most known Australian trees amongst architects and product designers.
These pieces are pale in color and have some fiddleback or figured pattern, a feature in which the growth of the wood fibers is distorted in an undulating pattern, producing wavy lines known as "flames".
Each set is dry and ready to use, 2 scales each about 10 x 40 x 140 mm.
Due to the grain structure and distinct colouring, all scales are slightly different but similar to the ones pictured.
