Description
These G10 Black and Orange Layered Handle Scales feature a striking layered pattern that reveals beautiful contour lines when shaped. Each scale alternates between deep black and bright orange layers, creating a unique pattern as the handle is ground and polished.
Made from high-pressure fibreglass laminate, G10 is known for its extreme toughness, stability, and resistance to moisture — making it perfect for long-lasting knife handles and tool grips.
G10 is much harder to cut and shape than Micarta, so sharp tools and patience are essential. As with any handle material, PPE is recommended, but even more so with G10.
Some makers experience mild skin irritation from the fibreglass content, so wearing long sleeves, pants, gloves, and a dust mask or respirator is advised when sanding or grinding.
