Description
These G10 Red and Black Layered Handle Scales feature a bold layered pattern that reveals stunning lines when shaped and contoured. Each layer alternates between deep black and vivid red, creating a unique pattern in every handle.
Made from high-pressure fibreglass laminate, G10 is exceptionally strong, stable, and water-resistant — perfect for knife handles and other tools exposed to hard use.
G10 is much harder to cut and shape than Micarta, so sharp tools and patience are essential. As with any handle material, PPE is recommended, but even more so with G10.
Some makers experience mild skin irritation from the fibreglass content, so wearing long sleeves, gloves, and a dust mask or respirator is advised when sanding or grinding.
