Description
Brass Lanyard Tube, 1/4" for handle pins (6.35 x 145 mm )
Brass lanyard tube for using in knife handles, this is for one pin of length approx 145 mm and with a outside diameter of 1/4" (6.35 mm).
Brass is an easy to work material, and takes a great shine.
Drill a slightly larger than 1/4" (6.35 mm) hole in the handle block or scales using a 6.4 mm drill bit or an "F" drill bit.
Using a 1/4" drill bit will work by lightly sanding the pin until it can be gently tapped in. However to avoid risk of splitting the scales it might be better to use a slightly over-sized drill bit.
Then glue into handle block or scales when gluing together the knife.
