Description
A hand-forged Nordic-style cross peen hammer from Northern Iron Forge, designed for blacksmithing, bladesmithing and general forging work.
The Nordic cross peen combines a striking face with a cross peen running perpendicular to the handle. The peen concentrates the force of the hammer blow over a narrower area, making it useful for drawing out, spreading and directing hot steel.
Handmade from 1045 carbon steel and fitted with a strong Australian Spotted Gum handle, this is a traditional forging tool made for regular workshop use.
