Steel Quench Tank with 10L Quench Oil
A complete quenching setup for knife making, including our Nordic Edge steel quench tank and 10 litres of medium-speed commercial quench oil.
The solid steel quench tank features an ammo-can style design with a removable steel lid. At approximately 33 × 19 × 23 cm with a capacity of around 12 litres, it is suitable for both full blade quenching and edge quenching.
The tank is finished in green with the Nordic Edge logo on both sides.

The quench oil is supplied in a foil bag. Empty the oil into the quench tank before use.
For best results, the quench oil can be pre-heated to approximately 40–60°C before quenching. Warming the oil reduces its viscosity and helps provide a faster, more consistent quench.
