Description
Wenge Knife Handle Scales
Set of 2 knife handle scales, from African Wenge.
Wenge consists of 2 distinct textures of wood, layered on top of each other.
The black layers are hard, and polishes up to a shiny surface.
The cinnamon colored layers are softer and can either be sanded and kept, or easily worn away with a brass brush.
This creates a 3D effect where the harder, darker wood is left above the tan colored wood.
This is a set of 2 scales, each about 10 x 40 x 120 mm in size. Note these are not bookmatched, we get them as loose pieces.
