3M Trizact Finishing Belts

Trizact belts are like an improved version of alu oxide belts - lasting much longer and leaving a finer, more uniform finish.

Shelf-sharpening pyramids of micro-abrasive particles for cooler grinding and more even-surfaced results saves on hand-sanding, and lasting much longer than traditional alu oxide belts.

The reason is that rather than having individual abrasive grains on a belt being worn down, the tiny abrasive particles are moulded into small pyramic shapes that wear down EVENLY across the life of the belt.

So rather than having single, large grains break off the belt and wear down leaving a sharper finish when the belt is new than when worn, as well as an uneven surface simply from the fact that the belt is a collection of grains in different state of wear - the Trizact belts wear down uniformly.

Meaning a worn belt will cut with new, freshly exposed abrasive particles as well as when new, and the entire surface of the belt will have a uniform wear level.

These belts are more expensive than Alu Oxide while having for many years provem themselves to be cheaper in steel production use - we are here offering the same advantage to knife makers.

These are sold as individual belts, graded in micron size with a comparison to traditional Pxxx grit size.
