Bench Strop - Single sided

Hand made in Lilydale, Victoria by TB Woodworking Design.

These strops are made from a beautiful piece of Walnut sandwiched between Cherry wood with a Veg tanned leather stropping surface measuring 80x300mm.

Each strop comes with a small block of Green honing Compound 

Total Measurements for the strop are 300x80x13 mm 

Stropping is the last step of the sharpening process and for such a small amount of effort drastically improves the cutting performance of your knife.

Cover the leather with the compound and strop by lifting the spine slightly off the leather and dragging away from the edge, towards the spine. 10-15 times each side, along the entire edge from heel to tip. 

The very fine abrasive in the honing compound helps to create a razor sharp edge and bring your knifes edge to its fullest potential.
