Blacksmith Goop – blackens and protects forged items.
This traditional blacksmith’s finish is a handmade blend of beeswax, boiled linseed oil, and gum turpentine. Formulated to darken and seal forged steel, it enhances the look of your work while offering long-lasting protection.
- Blackens and protects forged steel surfaces
- Traditional mix of beeswax, boiled linseed oil & gum turpentine
- Apply while the steel is still at a black heat
- Can also be applied cold – works best when the steel is warm
- Buff with a rag or paper towel once cool
- Leaves a rich, dark finish with a pleasant scent
- Made in Australia by Nordic Edge
- Supplied in a round tin, approx. 80mm wide x 20mm tall
Ideal for axes, tongs, knives, tools, and decorative blacksmith work.
