Summary slides from the live stream:

Hosted by Jamie Bishop from Sausage Man Forge: LINK, a keen big blade enthusiast the live stream talked through the challenge and how to score well.

Pirate Forge

Wayne from Pirate Forge in Florida has made a name for himself with some amazingly cool big blades, cutting videos and his awesome patinas. We have met Wayne a couple of times at Blade Show in Atlanta, he is a very cool guy and we are so happy he wanted to join the Challenge live stream!

Give him a follow on Instagram here to get his content in your feed: LINK

  • Knife can be started at any time but must be finished in October

  • Make a video that can be edited, does not need to be in one go
  • Video max 2 minutes
  • Must include all required Destruction + Sharpening challenges for full marks
  • ADD BONUS tests for bonus points
  • Will be judged by the maker community

Watch the live stream for details

The live stream has more details, but the below is the summary slide.

Min 5 good chops at each challenge unless you get through or smash it, like the golf ball / coconut chop is probably only 1 chop!

First smash then slice

Do the destruction challenges first, then do the sharpness tests without any sharpening in between.

This is just for fun, so we trust you to follow the rules :)

Do the sharpening tests however you like, the cooler it looks the more points you might get.

Some kind of rope, paper and water bottle slice or cut.,
