Brisa Tommi 95 mm blade, Stainless Steel

Note the recommendation from Brisa to add a micro-bevel on this blade to strengthen the edge before use in hard materials (like Australian woods):

"The Tommi knifeblade line is our developement of the traditional Finnish Tommi knifeblades. The grind high goes to zero. This will mean the knife edge is quite delicate.For improving strength it is receommended to do an initial shaperning to create a micro bevel before use."

The Tommi blade is 3.5 mm thick at the spine, with 95 mm of blade length at about 22 mm high. Total length including the tang is 215 mm. The blade is in Swedish Stainless Steel 12c27 with a Scandi ground edge that goes to true zero, creating a very sharp and thin edge. For "rougher" use, this edge will benefit from a light sharpening before use, to create an additional "micro-bevel" which will take off the thinnest part of the edge.
