This is the first time im using Juma. Very impressed I must say. Working with it is a pleaser , using my 50 x 1830 mm belt sander to shape the Juma I found it works easy, easier than kirinite and other acrylic knife scales that want to melt if your speed or hand presser on your sander are wrong . You don't even have to drop the speed of the sander to shape Juma . Dont let it over heat ,I keep dipping in water to keep it cool. After going threw the belt grits I finish with a trizact A16 belt, finally a wet and dry hand sand ,plenty of water. A quick buff and you have one of the most stunting knife handles. Certainly a conversation piece .Take it out side into the sun and look. It has a warm satin finish even after buffing .Its not like acrylics having a shiny mirror look if buffed.
