Description

Laurin 95 Puuko Blade, Carbon Steel

Carbon Steel blade, classic Finnish all-around blade shape.

Great, sharp blade for whittling, camp chores and general use that holds a sharp edge.

Blade is from Finland, made by Laurin in 80CrV2 carbon steel.

The blade is 3 mm thick, about 20 mm high and has about 95 mm of blade.

Total length from tip to end of tang is 212 mm, the tang can be cut to fit the handle.

These blades are stamped out, helping to keep the cost down.

You will need to file the tang and shoulders of the blade a little before the bolster will fit.

As all carbon steel tools, the blade cannot be left wet to avoid rust.

Note: if wanting the matching bolster, get the R30.

This is the same blade as the Polar 95 Carbon whittler but without logo, from same maker.

    Very nice blade

Didn't want anything to expensive for my first knife, but it's a wonderful blade for the price and is easy to sharpen and get looking like something worth more then it is. Holds an edge pretty well.

    Laurin Puuko 95 blade

A great option for a quick kit knife. Quality steel with a good heat treat ready to fit up to a handle. Goldilocks size. Very versatile knife. I paired this up with the R30 bolster fitted to an old broken hammer handle-looks like a million bucks.

    Great little units

These are a quality unit. Half the work is done. Just needs a handle fitted up. Good edge. Plenty of tang. Needs a bit of a clean up but for the money great value.
