Abrasives
Abrasives for use in knife making, belts and sheets;
- Cubitron belts are the best for steel, we use these instead of ceramic grit belts now
- Ceramics belts are used for steel (last a long time if running hard and fast)
- Zirconia is best for handle materials, due to more open structure (less clogging)
- Alu Oxide and J-Flex belts are finishing belts to clean up and prepare for hand sanding
- Scotch brite belts are for a satin grinder finish as an alternative to hand sanding
- Rhynowet is a premium metal-worker abrasive paper, lasting longer than regular sanding paper
