The material in this pair is Mustard Canvas Micarta, a popular material in knife making due to ease of working and good looks.
It is a man-made material, consisting of layers of canvas embedded in resin, yet has a wood-like, warm feel in use.
Micarta takes a great shine if buffed or polished.

brisa trapper mustard micarta handle scales
Very nice scales, corby bolts fit great. Bought them for my enzo (brisa) trapper but cut them short to expose the end of the knife tang so it could be used for scrapping. It turned out great :)
