J-Flex Grinding Belts for All-around use 

Often used after stock removal (ceramic or cubitron) to blend and refine before either hand sanding, or going high grit on the grinder if not hand sanding. Comes from 120 (coarse) to 800 grit (very fine), in the 2 most popular knife making sizes 2 x 48" (50 x 1220 mm) and 2 x 72" (50 x 1830 mm).

J-Flex belts have soft, forgiving backing for grinding curves and flowing lines. Great for finish handles and blade transitions, often used over-hanging the platen 5 mm to create a rounded edge to grind against. J-flex is the soft backing, the actual abrasive is German-made aluminum oxide grits.

Will wear out quicker than the Ceramic and Zirconia belts, but very useful for finishing up and smoothing out curves before hand sanding.
